Satay Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 1 onion chopped
- ¼ – ½ tsp. chilli powder
- ½ c peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- ¾ c coconut cream
- salt
Instructions
- Heat oil in a saucepan
- Add garlic, onion and chilli powder
- Cook until onion is clear
- Stir in the peanut butter, soy sauce, lemon juice and sugar
- Add coconut cream
- Cook until mixture boils, stirring constantly
- Season with salt to taste
- Add more sugar if necessary
Notes
Serve with meingin kebabs / stir fry vegetables / vegetarian burgers / baked marinated tofu
