We promote vegan and vegan-friendly businesses who provide goods and services in Ōtautahi Christchurch and throughout Aotearoa. Over 30 local and national businesses have already joined the network.

Register your products with the Vegan Trademark
We have proudly partnered up with the UK Vegan Society to become the official Australasian agent for their internationally recognised vegan product certification scheme — The Vegan Trademark. The Vegan Trademark is the most trusted vegan standard and symbol certifying vegan products. This Trademark guarantees that the product is vegan and free of any animal-derived ingredients as well as any kind of animal testing.
Showcase your business at the Vegan Expo
Entering its 15th year, the Vegan Expo is an inspiring food and lifestyle event providing an opportunity for businesses and organisations from all over New Zealand to tell their story, share their plant-based food, vegan goods and green living ideas all in one place on one day. Established in 2007, the Christchurch Vegan Expo is the OG and longest running vegan festival in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
Attend the monthly Vegan Night Mākete
The Christchurch Vegan Night Mākete is our highly successful monthly market that showcases the best local plant-based foods and goods. It is the ideal forum for local businesses to showcase their plant-based foods and goods and meet the community. It is held on the last Saturday of the month at the Phillipstown Community Hub located at 39 Nursery Road. Come on down and check it out.
Collaborate with the Vegan Business Tribe
The Christchurch Vegan Society has teamed up with the Vegan Business Tribe to offer free online New Zealand Vegan Business Networking Meet-ups hosted by David Pannell. These meet ups are designed to support vegan businesses and not-for-profits to meet other vegan business owners and professionals who share their mission, promote their company or organisation, make useful connections, and see how we can all work together to help move the NZ vegan business scene forward.
