Special Christchurch film screening: The Big Fat Lie

Six professors, nine doctors and various health professionals shed troubling light on the correlation of animal products and the risks of heart disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer, and gastrointestinal diseases.

“This is a really good doco for anyone interested in their health and what is going on with the health and food industries in New Zealand. Whether you are already on a plant-based journey or thinking about improving your health and reducing your footprint. Any kiwi can relate to Grant’s story and journey.”

Your invitation to our fundraising doco screening

We are thrilled to host the Christchurch screening of a new feature-length documentary by Grant Dixon, that asserts our nation needs to move to a whole foods, plant based lifestyle to prevent suffering from the epidemic of modern sicknesses. The Big Fat Lie confronts the established medical institutions’ sole reliance on medications and surgery, while ignoring the now clearly demonstrated health benefits of a vegan diet.

Grant uses wry humour and grandchild snippets to illustrate his mission to help demonstrate that animal products, processed foods and even oils can cause severe harm to our society.

At 58, Grant Dixon, was rushed to hospital having suffered a heart attack. This documentary follows his enlightening and somewhat entertaining journey discovering this new found vegan diet to help save his life. “My hope is that the film will generate enough interest to spark a public debate which will lead to real change in official medical policy,” says Grant.
