Thank you to everyone who attended our fundraising buffet at Welcome Chinese Vegetarian Cafe on May 15 – and a huge thank you to Bernard and the team for another amazing feast.This event helps us raise funds to continue our other events and projects, like the Vegan Night Mākete (next one June 25), The Vegan Ball (August 20), Vegan Expo Christchurch (November 20) and Vegan Angels.Our next fundraising event is the Vegan High Tea on Sunday, June 26. All proceeds go to Cat Rescue Christchurch – a local charity focused on reducing the stray cat population using the trap, neuter, return method.The delicious treats on offer will include beautiful cookies donated by Lorraine’s Cookies, mini sausage rolls and pies from Coupland’s, chocolate truffles from Upbeet Kai, cookies from Cookie Time, chocolate bon bons by Mind Your Temper, and lots of other goodies (including scones, cupcakes, macrons and finger sandwiches) lovingly made by our wonderful volunteers.Click here to get your tickets now.
