Amy and our awesome volunteer team did a stellar job making a huge range of delicious baking, including cupcakes and gingerbread men, which went down an absolute treat at the Go Green Expo last weekend. “They were so good we sold out!” says Amy. “We also made vegan bacon and sausage Sammies which impressed even the hardiest of meat-eaters.”
We gave out hundreds of free recipe and information flyers, and had countless conversations on how our food choices impact the planet, our health and the animals. The responses to veganism was overwhelmingly positive. We also got to meet so many lovely people! And a big thanks to all newcomers that signed up for the newsletter, welcome to the community!
