Becoming Vegan Movie Night Pot Luck
All are welcome to our pot luck event on Saturday 15th May from 18:00 at Know Church, off Bealey Avenue.
Becoming Vegan is a short documentary about the lifestyles of vegans. It follows Rachael Lowes’ experiment of following a vegan diet for two weeks, offering insight into what it’s like to go from being a meat-eater, to a vegan. Nostalgic for some, topical for others perhaps.
This 25-minute-long, child-friendly documentary explores what it’s like to go ‘cold tofurky’ overnight, with the sudden realisation of how many animal products are present in the supermarket aisles.
